Julius Caesar. Denarius (Silver, 18 mm, 3.63 g, 1 h), military mint traveling with Caesar in Illyria (Apollonia?). Minor deposits and with light marks, otherwise, nearly very fine.

Obverse: Diademed female head (Clementia?) to right, wearing oak wreath; behind, III
Reverse: Trophy of Gallic arms; oval shield to left, axe surmounted by animal’s head to right - CAESAR in exergue
